CLUB MAINTENANCE VEHICLES ON THE HILL
Please be aware that you may encounter club maintenance vehicles on the hills during operating hours.
Our grooming policy states that grooming must be kept to “after hours” operation and day time grooming is to be only performed when absolutely necessary. Should the club be required to put a grooming machine onto the hill during operating hours, several controls are in place to ensure member/guest safety:
- The trail will be visibly closed.
- A sign indicating “Groomers Ahead” will be posted.
- Staff/ski patrol will be present to redirect skier traffic.
In order to ensure your safety, please adhere to the warning signs and directions given by the staff/ski patrol.
Snowmobiles are a necessity to the daily operation of the Club. While we do strive to keep their use to a minimum, you will encounter them from time to time. Please review the trail map to familiarize yourself with our recognized snowmobile route.
Please note that on occasion, for emergency or maintenance purposes, you may encounter snowmobiles at any time on any trail.
Snowmobile operators must adhere to a speed limitation at all times and all machines are equipped with flags to provide better visibility. All snowmobiles will stay to the sides of the trails, other than for emergencies, and will sound their sirens to assist in alerting our members and guests of their presence when necessary.
All vehicle operators undergo extensive training to help ensure a safe environment for our members, guests and staff at all times.
Take care,
Your Risk Management Team
